“Piano Man” Steve Lungrin is a pianist/keyboardist, singer, songwriter, & entertainer living in Southern Nevada near Las Vegas. He’s been entertaining audiences professionally for over 20 years.
He was born in the mid west in the heartland state of Nebraska, cutting his teeth as a performer at private parties, barn dances, state conventions, talent contests, and bars. At age 17, he won the gold medal at the first ever Cornhusker State Games Talent Competition after performing his favorite tune, “Piano Man” for a crowd of nearly 5,000 Nebraskans. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2000 where he studied music business & communications.
Relocating to Southern Nevada near Las Vegas in 2005, he works full time as a songwriter & entertainer, and has launched his own series of video piano lessons. Between his work as a solo artist and as part of various groups & ensembles he has performed all over North America in venues as diverse and prestigious as the University of Northern Colorado Greeley Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall in New York City, Canadian Wonderland in Toronto, & the White House Lawn in Washington, D.C. He continues to receive rave reviews from audiences of all ages. He loves and performs all different types of popular music including Rock, Country, Pop, Jazz, and Standards, and always includes his signature wit & humor along the way.
